Coffee at Skårungen

Lofoten has some amazing coffee spots but finding them can be a challenge. Since Lofoten is very sparse (we have just 24,500 residents) it can be difficult for businesses to justify their location and opening times. One of the places that has it figured out is Skårungen, just outside Kabelvåg.

The café at Skårungen is open from 11:00 until 21:00 every day.

Their coffee is of great quality and is made properly with an espresso machine. To go alongside the coffee there’s a fantastic selection of cakes and a lunch menu comprised of traditional and modern choices, including warm apple cake, cinnamon rolls, and lamb stew.

If coffee isn’t what you’re looking for, Skårungen offers Lofoten widest gin selection, with twenty to choose from. They also offer a dinner menu. For a break away from the nearby towns, Skårungen is ideal.
